โ๏ธAttacking
In Galactic Reborn, players participate in various celestial missions to achieve their goals and dominate the galaxy. One of the most important and exciting missions is the Attack, which enables players to tactically target their adversaries and assert control over resources and territories. In this guide, we will explore the mechanics and strategies surrounding Attacks and provide a detailed example of how to effectively utilize them in gameplay.
Attacking key features
Real-Time Combat: Attacks unfold in real time, heightening the intensity and engagement of battles. Players can observe the conflict as it progresses, making strategic decisions on the fly and embracing the excitement and unpredictability of the game.
Customizable Fleets: Players can tailor their fleets by selecting diverse ship types, empowering them to assemble a fleet that aligns with their attack strategy and increases their chances of triumph.
Offensive Structures: Players can enhance their attack capabilities by utilizing special offensive structures on their planets, providing additional firepower and tactical advantages during Attacks.
Building Damage: During an attack, there is a possibility that some of the target planet's buildings will be destroyed or damaged, and vice versa when defending against an incoming Attack.
Invasion/Colonization: Players can use Conquestor ships to invade enemy-controlled planets or colonize uncharted ones, increasing the planet's invasion rate with each successful attack. When the invasion rate reaches 100%, the attacking player claims the planet. Keep in mind that the invasion rate decreases by 1% each hour, so strategic planning is crucial for successful invasions.
Conquest Progress
Conquestor ships can initiate Conquest during an Attack Mission on a target planet, whether uncharted or already colonized. The Conquestor ship has a random chance of increasing the planet's Conquest Progress by 20 to 35 percent. Sending multiple Conquestors in a single attack does not improve the Conquest effect. To speed up the conquest process, send several attacks with Conquestors one after another. Monitor the target planet's Conquest Progress, which decreases by 1% per hour. When the target planet's Conquest Progress reaches 100%, the player who sent the last successful Conquestor ship claims the planet, gaining access to its resources and strategic positioning.
In Galactic Reborn, players can also launch Spying Missions to gain critical information on their enemies and plan their strategies accordingly. This guide will explore the mechanics and strategies surrounding Spying Missions and provide a detailed example of how to effectively utilize them in gameplay.
Spying key features
Prospecting: Players can send Prospectors to gather intelligence on other players' planets or moons, including resources, buildings, structures, and spacecraft fleet.
Real-time Execution: Spying Missions are executed in real time, allowing players to receive timely and accurate information on their enemies.
Strategic Advantage: Successful spy missions can provide valuable information on an enemy's weaknesses and vulnerabilities, allowing players to plan their attacks more effectively.
Risk and Countermeasures: Spy missions can be detected by enemy defenses and result in retaliation. Players can use counterintelligence measures to protect their own planets from enemy spies.
By mastering Spying Missions and employing strategic planning, players can gain valuable intel on their enemies, allowing them to make informed decisions and dominate the galaxy.
Example Scenario
Suppose you have identified a target that you believe will yield valuable resources and strategic advantages. You would follow these steps:
Prepare your fleet: Assemble a diverse and powerful fleet tailored to your attack strategy. Ensure that your fleet has the necessary firepower and capabilities to engage the enemy.
Initiate the Attack: Launch the Attack against your target, carefully selecting the most vulnerable points to maximize your chances of success.
Engage in Real-Time Combat: Monitor the battle as it unfolds in real time, making strategic decisions and adapting your approach as needed to respond to the enemy's defenses and counterattacks.
Utilize Offensive Structures: Take advantage of special offensive structures on your planets to enhance your fleet's firepower and gain a tactical edge during the Attack.
Resource Reclamation: Upon victory, collect the valuable resources gained from the Attack. Use these resources to build more ships, advance your technology, or support other missions.
Debris Collection: After the battle, collect debris scattered across the battlefield through Scavenging missions, which will be detailed in another section.
